M any providers are happy for PA's, parent carers, or other trusted adults to support a child to access an activity but please verify this with them first as they may need to undertake some risk assessments for your child's safety and wellbeing. Please note that all activities are provided as a 'targeted provision offer', this means that if your child requires personal care support, dedicated one to one, or has complex care or health needs, you will need to speak to Shropshire Councils Disabled Childrens Team about accessing additional support to be able to access these activities safely and appropriately. Being a member of either All In Short Breaks or Actio simply means that we can keep you up to date with new offers and information about the opportunities we provide and ensure that any changes to the program take into consideration the range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across Shropshire. If your young person is aged 18-25, we ask that you are an Actio member. If your child is aged 0-17, you must be a member of Shropshire Councils 'All In Short Breaks' program to access the activities. Below you will find we have broken down our offer into term time and holiday activities. We hope that our menu of opportunities include some activities your child or young person would benefit from. We know how important a healthy lifestyle is, and how much more vulnerable our children and young people are to isolation, poorer health, and being less engaged in their local communities. We provide a range of activities to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to access safe environments to play, learn, make friends, and be active.
